About Me
Who Am I?
As a Realtor for 30 years I spent much of my time photographing and creating brochures of beautiful homes. In retirement the subjects of my photography have changed as I have had time to focus on the natural beauty around me. While I have photographed many places around the world, I feel that nothing beats the beauty of the Chesapeake, my own 'back yard' since 1998. To share that beauty I created a 'Chesapeake Scenes' Facebook page, and now have added this web site to further share my "Chesapeake Scenes".
Photography as Communication
The Chesapeake Bay area is a magical place, from the wildlife and waterfowl to the landscapes and waterscapes. As the seasons change, the colors change and so do the birds and waterfowl that call our Bay their home. From sunrise to sunset the changes in lighting and activity have given me an endless slate for capturing on camera the wonders and beauty of our area. My Custom Products
In addition to prints in many sizes, I have designed 5x7 individual note cards with blank interiors, as well as boxed sets of 12 3.5"x5" cards - each card a different photo. My 'Chesapeake Scenes' note cards are sold in several local gift shops and hotels and a selection of my framed prints are on display and for sale at the store 'Jewels At The Bay' on Kent Island. I have also created a hard bound 28-page photo album called "Chesapeake Scenes", as well as 12"x12" Chesapeake Scenes calendars. Prices upon request, (shipping extra).
